Rates & Insurance
Fees and rates are difficult to determine because they are often based on the insurance carrier and plan you have. We are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. Usually this implies a discounted rate for the visit and only requires the patient to make a co-pay per visit. If we are not on your insurance panel, you can still use your out-of-network benefits (which for some plans are the same as the in-network benefits, but for others means a much higher cost to the patient). We can assist in setting up out-of-network claims. For patients who do not have insurance or who choose to not use their insurance benefits, out-of-pocket rates will be discussed with the Clinical Director, Dr. Julie Chicvara at the initial phone intake, or with the therapist at the first visit.
Some mental health insurance requires that we call the insurance company to determine if you need pre-authorization before the first visit. We can check this for you as a courtesy after you give your insurance information during the initial phone intake with the Clinical Director.
Methods of Payment
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
Patients can choose to pay at their session or wait for a monthly statement to be mailed to them.
NOTE: Bills not paid in full within 30 days of the statement date are subject to a late fee. Payment plans are available if set up in advance with Clearpsych. There is a returned check fee of $25.
